I have registered but have not received a confirmation – What do I do?

If your payment has been processed, but no confirmation has been received, please contact registrations@IMPACTnational.ca and a receipt will be sent manually.

If you are having trouble processing your payment and have been directed to a blank page when trying to do so, please try a different web browser or device. We are working to resolve this issue, but please do not wait for us to do so. It may be an incompatibility issue between your internet browser and the registration software. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Does IMPACT have a flight partner?

Yes! IMPACT has partnered with Air Canada to help delegates from all over attend IMPACT. Stay tuned for an upcoming discount code for IMPACT 2026, taking place January 26 – 28, with Day of IMPACT on the 25th.

How do I register?

Do I have to stay in one of the hotels listed on the website?

While we encourage delegates to choose one of our partner hotels, we are a destination blessed with many accommodation choices and you are welcome to explore all options.

What is the Day of IMPACT and why is there an extra charge?

The Day of IMPACT was created to provide delegates with a hands-on opportunity to experience Southern Vancouver Island and Victoria — and the destination’s own journey towards greater sustainability and resiliency in tourism. Due to the amount of coordination that goes into creating a day that provides real value for delegates including transportation and food costs, we provide this as a separate, add-on event. We also understand that not everyone can include an extra day so by separating it out of the conference program we help keep registration fees more affordable.

I would like my destination to host an IMPACT Event Series in the future, how do I apply?

Are there sponsorship opportunities available for IMPACT 2025?

Yes, there are sponsorship opportunities available. Head to our Become a Sponsor & Partner page to view our Sponsorship Package, fill out the form, or reach out to sponsor@impactnational.ca directly.

I would like to speak/present at IMPACT. Who do I speak to?

Please connect with our program manager at program@impactnational.ca – as we are always interested in new, inspiring speakers. We also encourage everyone who is attending to have a voice, and have set up our sessions to include and encourage delegate participation.

Where does the money go from IMPACT?

IMPACT operates as a break-even not-for-profit.

How was the IMPACT Conference started?

The IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Conference was co-founded by Destination Greater Victoria,  Synergy Enterprises, Starrboard Enterprises, and tartanbond (previously, Beattie Tartan). The title “IMPACT” was chosen to convey the importance of tourism as an economic driver as well as the large footprint it has on the environmental, social, and cultural fabric of a community and destination.

Are there group rates available to attend IMPACT?

Please contact registrations@impactnational.ca if you wish to book for a group.

If I’m presenting at IMPACT do I have to pay registration fees?

The program manager will discuss with you the options you have to attend IMPACT, as a speaker or presenter.

Is IMPACT an in-person conference, virtual or hybrid?

IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism 2025 was an in-person conference. Stay tuned for updates on IMPACT 2026.

Are single day only fees available?

Unless you are a presenter or speaker at the conference, full fees apply.

When is IMPACT being held?

The next iteration of IMPACT is being held Monday to Wednesday, January 26 – 28, 2026 with Day of IMPACT being held on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
