Managing Director, FED Urban Agriculture Society

Brianna Stewart is the Managing Director of FED Urban Agriculture Society, a nonprofit transforming underutilized city spaces into productive farms and learning hubs on Vancouver Island. With a background in the sustainable hospitality sector and a BSc in Food & Environment from UBC, she brings systems thinking and people-centered leadership to her work in food justice and urban resilience.

Since 2021, Brianna has led FED’s strategic growth—advancing community-led programs that address food insecurity, environmental challenges, and equitable access to land and learning. Her work bridges grassroots action and systemic change, building partnerships that reimagine how cities grow, share, and value food.
