Edward is a Cree from Eeyou Istchee, and he was born in Chisasibi, Quebec. At a young age, he learned about hunting and being on the land from his grandfather and uncles. He still loves being out on the land with his family and friends.

Edward served as the Tourism Coordinator and economic development officer for his community. He currently sits on the Board of Directors, Vice President of the Cree Outfitting & Tourism Association, and President of Eeyou Istchee Tourism for the Regional Tourism Association.

Edward collaborated with Oceans North and the National Geographic Pristine Seas (a dream come true) during the expedition to James Bay, and with multiple TV shows such as APTN’s Chuck and The First People’s Kitchen with Chef Chuck Hughes and recently Motoneige.tv to promote tourism in Eeyou Istchee.
